| 2. Submission of manuscripts of “UVSOR Activity Report” | The facility publishes an annual “UVSOR Activity Report” summarizing research conducted using UVSOR. (Since this serves as an abstract of the research, please submit detailed content to scientific journals.) The information page for the UVSOR Activity Report is here. Please log in to the Web Application System (NOUS) and upload your report by clicking the “Upload” button for the relevant project under “Approved Projects” on your My Page. Request for Citation and Acknowledgments
| Request for citation and acknowledgment | The Institute for Molecular Science encourages the submission of papers based on joint research results to international academic journals and their presentation at academic conferences and other venues. | Request for paper registration | Registration of Unregistered Papers: If you have any papers published in academic journals that have not yet been registered in the UVSOR paper database, please fill out the Paper Notification Form. Please also submit PDF files or two reprints (copies are acceptable) of these papers. ・If you are submitting a PDF file, please attach it to your paper submission form and send it to uvsor[at]ims.ac.jp. ・If mailing reprints, please send them to the UVSOR Office along with the Paper Notification Form. There is no need to upload the paper to the NOUS. Contents of the Paper Notification Form: (1) Paper Title: TitleCase (capitalize the first letter of each word except prepositions and articles). (2) Full Author Names: For names, use initials for the given name and write the family name with the first letter capitalized and the rest in lowercase. When listing authors, use “A and B” for two authors, and “A, B, and C” for three or more. Example: A. Familyname, B. Familyname, and C. Familyname (3) Journal Title, Volume, Year of Publication, and Page: Place the year in parentheses (), and include only the first page number. End with a period. Example: J. Phys. B, 38 (2005) 3597.
