Application Guidelines for UVSOR synchrotron Facility

Application Applications are submitted via the web-based application system NOUS (https://nous.nins.jp/).
Please consult with the beamline scientist in charge when preparing and submitting the application. The period of the research project is from May to September for the first semester, and from October to March for the second semester (excluding year-end and New Year's holidays).
Application Acceptance Proposals will be peer reviewed and notification of acceptance will be made in NOUS.
Experiments Prior to beamtime, please discuss the details of your research plan with the beamline scientist.
Research Reports Within 30 days following the completion of your beamtime, you must submit a post-experiment report by NOUS. In addition, you will need to submit an English Activity Report by April 30th, 2024. The report will be made available on the UVSOR website.
Publication of Research Results If the results of your work at the UVSOR facility are to be published, please be sure to cite the name of the beamline used, as well as the project number(s) issued. Please follow this style even if other facilities were used and your work at UVSOR played an important role in achieving results.
※Example (A part of this work was conducted at the BL** of UVSOR Synchrotron Facility, Institute for Molecular Science (IMS program **IMS****).
